SHAREHOLDER APPLAUDS BANK FOR PUTTING  MEASURES IN PLACE TO RECOVERING LOANS GRANTED TO CLIENTS

The Board of Directors for Microfin Rural Bank has commended the institution(Bank) for putting the right measures in place for them to be able to retrieve loans granted to their clients.

At the 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) the recorded a significant profit of 135.10% as against 17.31% and the total Deposites increase from 17.6 Million in 2023 as against 25.4 Million in 2024 reflecting the growth of 43.97% and with that significant achievement gives hope to the Directors that the bank.

Alhaji Yusif TwManagea member of the board of directors alluded that,the board and Management are doing everything possible to ensure sustained operational efficiency to end the year well to give value to shareholders.

He announced this at the Microfin Rural Bank’s 12th Annual General Meeting of shareholders held at Kasoa Akweley Credit Union Training Centre in Central Region.

On his part,Mr Ebenezer Kwao Ahene- Larbie,Vice President Central Regional Chapter of the Association of Rural Banks commended the Board, Management and Staff of the Bank for their commitment and dedication in serving the people within their catchment area.

He advised them to continue to execute their duties in accordance with corporate governance framework with and to maintain high standards in customer service and relationship management, stressing their performance is a beacon of inspiration and should serve as a benchmark for other Rural Banks.

Some shareholders applauded the Management and Board of Directors for putting in place prudent measures at recovering loans granted to borrowers making the bank to progress also called on them not to rest on their achievements, but to be more responsible at safeguarding the bank for it to continue acting, whiles appealed to all shareholders who were owing loans to honour their obligations for others to also benefit same to better their lots.
