MMDCE’s COMFIRMATION, EASTERN REGIONAL MINISTER FINALLY ENDS IT AT KWAHU AFRAM PLAINS DISTRICT.
The Eastern Regional Minister,Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, finally ends MMDCE’S Confirmation at Kwahu Afram Plains Districts with all the 33 Municipal and Districts MMDCE’S confirmed, Following a successful confirmation ceremony held at Tease in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District.
The district officially confirmed Hon. Moses Tangbeh, as the new District Chief Executive (DCE), secured a remarkable 96% endorsement from the Assembly members as a vote of confidence in his leadership and vision for the District.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Moses Tangbeh, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the President, Leadership of the NDC, and the entire the Assembly Members for their endorsement of his nomination, for entrusting him with the mandate to serve them.
He promise to work wholeheartedly to ensure development-focused administration, centered on key sectors such as Road infrastructure, Education, Healthcare and Job creation.
On his part, the Member of Parliament,Hon Jeseph Appiah,acknowledged the significant task ahead the DCE and stressed the importance of unity and cooperation in addressing the District challenges,he assured residents of Kwahu Afram Plains his commitment in ensuring that the get its fair share of the National cake.
He appealed to the Inspector General of Police Christians Tetteh Yohonu, to bring back Police Taxforce to protect market women and residents of Kwahu Afram Plains from the Recent armed robbery attacks in the Area.
Finally, some Residents appealed to the New appointed DCE in redeeming his pledge, to provide the youth Jobs in the area, highlighted an important need liquefied Petroleum Gas station in the area.
