  1. OVER 700 AGED, VULNERABLE RECEIVES FREE MEDICAL SCREENING.

The _Chief of Kwahu Tafo Nana Opoku Mintah II, during the Kwahu Easter Festivity, organized a two-days health screening exercise for over 700 Aged Vulnerable Kwahu Tafo Community in the Kwahu East District, Eastern Region.

 

In his address,Nana Opoku Mintah II,stressed the health outreach initiative aimed to identify underlying health issues and to provide immediate medical attention where necessary and sought to promote a healthier community and also empower individuals to take charge of their well-being.

The screening comprising with a team of Medical Doctors, Laboratory, Technicians, Physician Assistants, Dentists and Nurses and expressed, the screening exercise sought to provide safe and proper healthcare services with much focus on the aged and other vulnerable in the community to improve on their health and hopeful.

“The periodic screening exercise would go a long way to improve and ensure healthy lives to promote the well-being of the people to bring joy to them,”he added.

In Furtherance,Nana Opoku Mintah ll,made a profound gratitude to commended its subjects for important role they played during the Kwahu Tafo Easter Activities to make it successful whiles emphasised, he is committed in finding solutions to the challenges facing the community.

On their part, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Nana Kwasi Opoku Mintah II,for the gesture and residents who benefited from the exercise were diagnosed and treated for blood pressure, hypertension, blood sugar level, diabetes, hepatitis B among others and Drugs were given to beneficiaries to aid the treatment of various ailments diagnosed.
