AHAFO-ANO NORTH NDC DEBUNKED ALLEGATIONS OF MCE ASPIRANT ENDORSING GALAMSE
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ahafo-ano North constituency, has denied allegations linking the party Vice Chairman Richmond Boakye Agyeman to illegal mining activities, describing them as “a complete falsehood without an iota of truth.”
Speaking to the media at a press conference in Tepa, the NDC party communications officer Akakpo Francis Elikplim praised Mr. Boakye Agyeman, expressing confidence in his leadership. However, the party members have strongly refuted these claims, exposing what they described as the ulterior motives behind the executives’ endorsement.
As a patriotic Ghanaian and the vice chairman of the National Democratic Congress in the Ahafo-ano North constituency, Mr Boakye Agyeman is fully aware of the commitment by His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama, to addressing the galamsey menace, and he is fully committed to this course by His Excellency, He emphasised.
The party urged the public, especially the people of Ahafo-ano North, to disregard what it described as “malicious and mischievous propaganda” against Mr. Boakye Agyeman.
“We want to reiterate that these reports are untrue, unfounded, and baseless,
They therefore appealed to President John Dramani Mahama to appoint Mr Boakye Agyeman as the next Ahafo-ano North Municipal Chief Executive MCE.
