
Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga says the 2025 Budget is an indication of the government’s commitment to fulfilling its promises made to Ghanaians.
Addressing the floor of Parliament after the presentation of the 2025 Budget by the Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Mahama Ayariga stated that the budget offers hope to Ghanaians after a long period of economic crisis induced by the previous administration.
According to him, this budget reflects that the government and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) keeps its promises and ensures that every promise made to Ghanaians are fulfilled.
“This clearly is a budget of a government and a party that keeps its promises. Almost every promise made by the Mahama administration has been fulfilled in less than 120 days,” he said.
He stressed that the 2025 budget is one that resonate with all group of people and does not discriminate, highlighting that it is a budget that benefits all people.
Mahama Ayariga emphasized that the budget will drive economic growth and provide good reforms that will stabilize the economy.
“This budget is for Makola women, Assemblymen, girls, and school children. It delivers solid reforms and drives economic growth. By the time we finish implementing this budget, “osono bɛyɛ ketekete,” (the elephant will be small).
