OSP declares former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta wanted

The Office of the Special Prosecutor has announced that former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta is now a fugitive.

At a press conference on Wednesday, February 12, Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng stated, “The name of the fugitive is Kenneth Ofori-Atta.”

He made the declaration based on allegations of financial loss to the state in various transactions, including the construction of the National Cathedral and the Ghana Revenue Authority’s (GRA) dealings with Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Ltd (SML).

OSP stressed that necessary actions will be taken to ensure that the former minister, Ken Ofori-Atta appear and answer question prior to the investigations.
