Africa Prosperity Dialogue: Breakfast Meetings to Drive Economic Integration

The Africa Prosperity Dialogues, a premier gathering of African leaders, policymakers, and business executives, is set to host a series of breakfast meetings on January 30, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) in Accra, Ghana.

These high-level breakfast meetings will bring together experts and stakeholders to discuss critical issues and opportunities related to Africa’s economic integration and prosperity agenda. The meetings will focus on key themes, including:

The Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (GCYE) will lead a discussion on “Bridging Infrastructure Gaps: Unleashing the Potential of SMEs and Young Entrepreneurs in Africa.” This session will explore innovative solutions to address Africa’s infrastructure challenges and promote economic growth.

The Ladies Entrepreneurship Club will host a meeting on “Scaling Your Business Through Strategic Technology Investment.” This session will delve into the role of technology in driving business growth and competitiveness in Africa.

Africa Law Practice International (ALPi) will lead a discussion on “International Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs): Powering Trade for AfCFTA Roll-Out.” This session will examine the potential of PPPs in driving trade and economic growth in Africa.

Shelter Afrique Development Bank (ShafDB) will host a meeting on “Unlocking Finance for Housing and Urban Development.” This session will explore innovative financing models and strategies to address Africa’s housing challenges.

ASIME will lead a discussion on “Exploring Venture Capital and Private Equity Funding Models for Infrastructure.” This session will examine the role of venture capital and private equity in financing Africa’s infrastructure development.

The Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS) will host a meeting on “Accelerating AfCFTA Implementation through Payment: Leveraging PAPSS for Enhanced Cross-Border Trade in Africa.” This session will explore the potential of PAPSS in facilitating cross-border trade and economic growth in Africa.

These breakfast meetings will provide a unique opportunity for stakeholders to engage in constructive dialogue, share experiences, and identify practical solutions to the challenges facing Africa’s economic integration and prosperity agenda.

The Africa Prosperity Dialogues is a flagship event of the Africa Prosperity Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting economic integration and prosperity in Africa. The event is expected to attract over 3,000 participants from 46 countries, including African leaders, policymakers, business executives, and civil society organizations.
