The Ashanti Youth Caucus of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has praised President John Dramani Mahama for his inspiring appointments, which they believe will boost Ghana’s socioeconomic growth.
The caucus’s president, Mr. Frank Basoah, commended the president for his efforts to reduce unemployment among the youth.
However, the caucus also made a passionate appeal to President Mahama to restore the licenses of Dr. Kwabena Duffour’s financial institutions, including Uni Bank and UniCredit, which were revoked by the previous NPP government for political reasons.
Mr. Basoah emphasized the importance of supporting the private sector, which he believes is the backbone of the economy.
The Ashanti Youth Caucus’s appeal is timely, considering the high unemployment rates among graduates in the Ashanti region.
By restoring the licenses of Dr. Duffour’s financial institutions, the government can help create more jobs and reduce unemployment among the youth .
