AMASAMAN INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE ORGANISES FIFTH EDITION OF SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM

Bishop Samuel K. Denoo, an Independent Parliamentary Candidate for the Amasaman Constituency, has organized the fifth edition of skills training program aimed at enhancing the entrepreneurial abilities of local residents.

Held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, under the theme “Job and Cash,” the initiative aims to empower participants by equipping them with practical skills and providing startup capital to improve their livelihoods.

The training included various skills such as soap making, shower gel production, and meat pie preparation.

Doris Mirekuwaa, popularly known known as Mama Dee and spokesperson for Bishop Denoo, highlighted the critical role of skill acquisition in fostering economic empowerment.

She noted that while many have received training, financial barriers often prevent them from starting their own businesses.

Madam Mirekuwaa affirmed Bishop Denoo’s commitment to creating more opportunities for local entrepreneurs through these programs.

She emphasized that skills are invaluable and can be utilized whenever needed.

Mama Dee expressed confidence in Denoo’s chances in the upcoming election and advocated for ongoing empowerment initiatives to combat unemployment in Amasaman.

She praised the program for benefiting hundreds and encouraged community members to take advantage of skill development opportunities.
