The Former Municipal Chief Executive Officer (MCE) of Ga West Municipality, Hon. Samuel Atukwei Quaye, has made a significant donation to the Amasaman constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as part of efforts to bolster their campaign ahead of the 2024 general elections.
The donation, which includes GHC 10,000, 1,000 T-shirts, laptops, and various equipment, aims to support the constituency’s preparations for the upcoming elections.
Mr Quaye’s contribution is intended to encourage voters to support John Mahama for president and Sedem Afenyo for the parliamentary seat.
Sedem Afenyo, the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for Amasaman, expressed his gratitude for the generous donation and assured Mr Quaye that the party would not disappoint him.
He is confident that the NDC will reclaim the parliamentary seat on December 7.
Notably, Sedem Afenyo has been confirmed as the elected parliamentary candidate for the Amasaman constituency by the NDC’s official list of candidates for the upcoming elections.
He promised to deliver employment opportunities as this aligns with the NDC’s broader campaign goals of revitalizing the economy and creating jobs in the area.
Mr Quaye’s donation is seen as a crucial boost to the NDC’s campaign efforts in Amasaman, where both parties are gearing up for a competitive election.
