Members of St. Peter Catholic Church in Adjen Kotoku celebrated the second edition of the Mega Magnificat, an event dedicated to honoring the Virgin Mary.
The gathering drew a large crowd, reflecting the community’s commitment to adoring and magnifying the mother of their Lord.
The evening was filled with uplifting music as both the St. Peter and St. John choirs performed, creating a vibrant atmosphere that resonated throughout the church.
The event commenced with an opening prayer led by Parish Priest Father Sylvester Segbawu, followed by a warm welcome from former church pastoral council chairman, Mr. Sylvester Gyamfi.
Mr Sylvester Gyamfi emphasized the importance of honoring Mary and shared significant reasons for her veneration.
The program was further enriched by the presence of Rev. Father Dominic Amanor and Mr. George Tetteh, who traveled from Abeka to join the celebration.
After the event, Father Segbawu expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organizers and praised the impressive turnout, encouraging parishioners to continually seek Mary’s intercession in their lives.
