Offinso South NPP supporters urge Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Bawumia to sustain free education policy

Supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Offinso South Constituency are admonishing Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the 2024 general elections, emphasizing the need to sustain and expand the free education policy that has transformed Ghana’s education system.

The supporters believe that Dr. Bawumia’s leadership would preserve the free Senior High School (SHS) program, which has provided thousands of young Ghanaians with access to secondary education, easing financial burdens for families nationwide.

This call was made during a community float to launch a Youth Football Championship in the Offinso South constituency, organized by Mr. Richard Agyare and his wife, Madam Mercy Dombo.

The couple, natives of Offinso Agyeimpra residing in the United Kingdom, hosted the event as part of their commitment to community development and youth empowerment.

At the launch, several NPP supporters expressed their appreciation for the free SHS policy, which they described as a landmark initiative introduced under the NPP government in 2017.

According to them, the policy has provided countless students, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, with a chance to pursue secondary education.

They emphasized that voting for Dr. Bawumia would help sustain this progress and drive future educational reforms focused on quality and accessibility.

During the event, the Assembly Member for the Offinso Agyeimpra Electoral Area, Hon. Boakye Ansah David, shared more details about the upcoming Youth Football Championship, which is set to take place from November 1st to 3rd, 2024.

He encouraged all NPP supporters across the constituency to turn out in large numbers to support Dr. Bawumia and the party’s parliamentary candidates in the December 7th elections.

Hon. Boakye Ansah urged each NPP member to spread the message of the importance of continuity in governance, which he believes will allow the party to continue its development agenda, especially in education and youth-focused initiatives.
