Bishop Samuel K. Denoo to host Skills Training Program for thousands in Amasaman

Bishop Samuel K. Denoo, an Independent Parliamentary Candidate for the Amasaman Constituency, is set to host a skills training program on November 2, 2024, from 10am to 4pm at Amasaman.

This initiative aims to empower community members by providing them with practical skills that can enhance their livelihoods.

The training will cover a variety of skills, including soap making, bead making, and hairdressing. In addition to these, participants will also have the opportunity to learn catering, tailoring, and graphic design, broadening their skill sets for better employment prospects.

Bishop Denoo, who has transitioned from pastoral work to politics, emphasizes the importance of community development through skill acquisition.

He believes that effective leadership should focus on tangible benefits for the people.

In a recent interview, he stated, “I’m not a politician, but a servant of the people. I’m tired of seeing our community suffer due to ineffective leadership. It’s time for change”

This training program, according to Bishop Denoo, reflects his commitment to fostering economic opportunities in Amasaman.

He has criticized both major political parties for their lack of progress in addressing local issues and is determined to bring about positive change through grassroots initiatives like this one.

He encouraged community members to participate in this free training session as part of his broader vision for development in the constituency.
