The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ireland Branch is gearing up for a Gala and Social Night aimed at promoting the policies and vision of their Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, ahead of the 2024 elections.

Scheduled for Saturday, October 27, 2024, the event will take place in Ireland under the theme “Economy/Manifesto Policies and Differences.”

The program will feature several dignitaries, including former Minister for Trade Carlos Ahenkorah and the Deputy General Secretary of the NPP, Dr. Antoinette Tsiboe-Darko, among others.

The Host of the program, who also doubles as the Branch Chairman of the NPP Ireland Branch, Alf Marshall Agyapong, emphasized the importance of this gathering.

“This program is organized to pave way for the NPP to speak to Ghanaians and share the visions and aspirations of the flagbearer of the party.,” he stated.

Mr Agyapong expressed confidence that Dr. Bawumia will lead the party to victory, asserting that despite past challenges, “by the Grace of God, Bawumia came and is going to change the situation around for the better.”

The event aims to highlight Dr. Bawumia’s achievements and articulate reasons for Ghanaians to support him in the upcoming elections.

“One of the reasons why we are organizing this program is to share Bawumia’s visions and goals with Ghanaians,” Agyapong noted.

Addressing political apathy among Ghanaians, he acknowledged that many have lost interest in politics but stressed that patience and education would be key in reconnecting with voters.
