Information reaching telegraphonline indicates that a swarm of bees has attacked personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service in Sunyani, the Bono regional capital.

The incident occurred after the fire officers received a distress call about a fire outbreak at the Sunyani Zongo area around 1:20 PM on Friday, October 18.

However, upon arrival, they were unexpectedly met with an attack from the bees.

The swarm had invaded the central mosque, making it difficult for Muslims to worship that afternoon.

A crew of six firefighters, along with some members of the Sunyani Zongo community near the mosque, were affected by the bee attack.
