The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has assured residents of Bitre in the Asunafo North Municipality of the Ahafo Region that relief is on the way, as the NDC is poised to win the upcoming elections and rescue them from current hardships.
He stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has deliberately neglected Bitre in terms of developmental projects because the community has consistently voted for the NDC in past elections.
During his recent tour of the Ahafo Region, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah addressed residents’ concerns, encouraging them to endure the “punishment” for just two more months, as the NDC is confident of securing victory in the forthcoming election.
“The neglect you have faced will soon be a thing of the past,” Mr. Nketiah promised, urging residents to remain hopeful.
He assured them that once in power, the NDC would prioritize the development of Bitre and address the challenges they face.
Accompanying Mr. Nketiah was Hon. Haruna Mohammed, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Asunafo North Constituency, who reiterated that only an NDC government can bring real development to the community.
He emphasized that the NDC had already initiated some development projects in Bitre during its previous time in power and that this commitment would be renewed once they return to office.
