The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in the Jaman South Municipality has organized an inter-party dialogue committee aimed at educating stakeholders about the upcoming December 7, 2024 elections.

The event brought together leaders from various political parties, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and representatives from Muslim and Christian associations.

Under the theme “Peace Building Mechanism and National Cohesion, Mediation and Resolution of Conflicts,” the dialogue focused on fostering understanding and cooperation among different community groups as the elections approach.

In an interview with the media, the Chairman of the PWD Association, emphasized the importance of unity among citizens and politicians before, during, and after the elections.

He urged everyone to prioritize peace to ensure a smooth electoral process.

Alhaji Abubaka, Deputy Chief Imam for Drobo Muslims, reinforced this message by stating that peace is a fundamental pillar in Islam that extends to every aspect of life.

“Without peace, no one can go to work,” highlighting the necessity of a stable environment for community development,” he added.

Rev. Michael Atta Dankwaa also addressed the gathering, discussing the significance of the theme and offering advice to residents of Jaman South Municipality on maintaining peace as they prepare for the elections.
