The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Fanteakwa South Assembly, Hon. Ernest Ofosu, has officially commissioned a new ultra-modern 6-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities for the Bosuso Presbyterian School in the Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region.
This initiative, according to him, is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational infrastructure and provide quality learning environments for students in the district.
During the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Ofosu highlighted the importance of this new facility in improving educational standards in the area.

He called on teachers and staff to motivate students and instill a culture of maintenance among them to ensure the longevity of the new classrooms.
“The new structure will provide pupils with a conducive learning environment, which is essential for better teaching and learning,” he stated.
He also urged the District Education Directorate to oversee the proper use of the classroom block to ensure its durability.
In his remarks, he appealed to community members to embrace a spirit of service and support local developmental initiatives.
Mr Ofosu seized the opportunity to call on teachers and staff to motivate their students, as well as instill the culture of maintenance in the students.

Hon. Okyere Agyekum, Member of Parliament (MP) for Fanteakwa South, passionately addressed attendees during the commissioning, emphasizing the party’s commitment to development.
He took the opportunity to discuss various projects undertaken by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and encouraged constituents to support their parliamentary candidate based on his contributions to the constituency’s growth.
In her closing remarks, Rev. Mrs. Betty Okyere, Headmistress of Bosuso Presbyterian School and also a pastor at the Bosuso Presbyterian Church, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to both the MP and DCE for their roles in facilitating the construction of the classroom block.

She urged students to take their education seriously to become valuable members of their community and country.
