In a bid to promote healthcare access and improve the well-being of his constituents, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Manhyia South Constituency, Lawyer Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, has organized a free health screening and National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) registration for hundreds of residents.
The health outreach, held at three key locations—Serwaa Nyarko Senior High School, Abis Park, and Former Antoa Station—provided comprehensive medical services to participants.
Addressing the gathering, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah emphasized the importance of good health in national development.
“Our country’s progress depends on having a healthy and strong population. It is only through a healthy workforce that we can drive development, and that is why I have made it a priority to help improve healthcare services in Manhyia South,” he said.
During the exercise, free medication was provided to those who needed it, while individuals with more serious medical conditions were referred to appropriate health facilities for further treatment.
Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah noted that this was only the beginning of his efforts to improve healthcare in the area, pledging to continue such initiatives if elected as the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the gesture, praising Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah for his dedication to their health and well-being.
They commended him for addressing their healthcare needs and pledged their support for his parliamentary candidacy.
