The Metropolitan Archbishop of the Catholic Church Archdiocese of Kumasi, Most Rev. Gabriel Justice Yaw Anokye, addressed the Christian Mothers and Fathers, urging them to commit to hard work as a means to advance the mission of the Christian Mothers’ Association (CMA).
Addressing religious leaders during the 9th Biennial Archdiocese Conference in Kumasi, Most Rev. Anokye emphasized that progress within the association hinges on the dedication and efforts of its members.
He reaffirmed the Archdiocese’s readiness to support the Christian Mothers’ Association (CMA) in all its endeavors aimed at bolstering the ministry of Christ and the church.
Most Rev. Anokye praised the leaders for their initiative and encouraged them to continue their good work, noting that such efforts would attract God’s blessings and contribute to the growth of the Church.
He stressed on the importance of unity and collaboration in fulfilling their collective mission, highlighting the need for commitment not only to personal growth but also to the broader objectives of fostering a vibrant Christian community.
Mrs. Ibok Oduro spoke on behalf of the Vice Chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), emphasizing the critical need for religious leaders to foster unity among themselves.
She asserted that strengthening this sense of unity is essential for building resilience in their spiritual work.
Mrs. Oduro highlighted the importance of equality in all activities, advocating for a training approach that empowers every leader to prepare effectively for future challenges.
She also urged parents to guide their children in the ways of Christ, stressing that such upbringing is vital for nurturing responsible individuals who exemplify good character.
According to her, reinforcing the idea that both unity among leaders and proper training for the next generation are crucial for the continued growth and effectiveness of religious communities.
