The Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church has officially commissioned a newly built Kindergarten (K.G) block at the Bosuso SDA Basic School in the Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region.
Fully funded by the church, the facility includes an attached staff common room, three furnished classrooms, and two washrooms, all aimed at enhancing the quality of education in the community.
During the handing-over ceremony, Bishop Agyapong Charles from Koforidua Afigyaase represented the church and emphasized that their mission prioritizes not only the spiritual needs of the community but also its educational requirements.
He urged the school management to adopt a proper maintenance culture to sustain this project and foster further developments in the future.
Hon. Ernest Ofosu, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Fanteakwa South, expressed gratitude for the church’s initiative and acknowledged its significant contribution to education in the area.
He highlighted that parents strive to provide the best education for their children and noted that the people of Bosuso will forever cherish the church’s demonstration of love and faith through this new facility.
He remarked that future generations would recognize and appreciate these good works.
Mr. Richard Akosah Addo, the District Education Director of Fanteakwa South, also expressed his appreciation to the leadership of the Latter-day Saints Church for their support.
He commended their commitment to ensuring quality education and appealed to teachers, parents, and students to establish a strong maintenance culture while instilling good work ethics in children.
He also encouraged everyone present to motivate students to make effective use of the new facilities provided.
