The duo from the Ghana Tennis Federation Wheelchair Tennis, Emmanuel Amosogo Amobire and Henry Kwadwo Agyapong, have begun their participation in the first ITF International Wheelchair Tennis Juniors Tournament in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The tournament, which begun on September 23, 2024, follows their successful consolation competition at the 2024 ITF Africa Junior Camp in Johannesburg.
Henry Kwadwo Agyapong received a bye in the first round and will face Moroccan player Hassan Lamghari in the second round.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Amosogo Amobire has been scheduled to compete in the first round against South Africa’s Mthokozisi Mpiloende Mabena.
Both players are determined to make a name for themselves and represent Ghana proudly.
They have pledged to give their best efforts in their matches, as reported by Henry Larbi, the National Coordinator for GTF Wheelchair Tennis.
