Fanteakwa NPP PC empowers education in Fanteakwa South with donation of over 600 dual desks

Fanteakwa South District Education Department has received a donation of 600 dual desks from the “Middle Belt Authority,” facilitated by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Fanteakwa South, Mr. Duke Ofori Atta.

The desks were officially handed over to the District Education Director during a ceremony held at the forecourt of the District Assembly.

In his brief speech at the event, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Fanteakwa South, Ernest Ofosu, highlighted that the Assembly had previously donated over 4,000 dual desks and various teaching and learning materials to schools in the district.

He emphasized the importance of providing conducive learning environments for students, which is essential for their holistic development and the overall advancement of the district.

He also expressed gratitude to the government for its continuous support in improving educational infrastructure.

Mr. Duke Ofori Atta underscored the significance of supporting educational institutions and reaffirmed his commitment to providing teaching and learning materials as motivational packages for schools.

He noted that enhancing the learning experience is crucial for students aspiring to enroll in the “STEM College” at Akyem Abomosu in the Eastern Region, where they can pursue specialized training in fields such as engineering, piloting, and science.

The District Education Director for Fanteakwa South, Richard Akosah Addo, expressed gratitude on behalf of the education sector for the substantial contribution from Mr. Ofori Atta and the DCE. He pledged that the dual desks would be utilized effectively to benefit students in the district.
