The Fanteakwa South Constituency NPP Parliamentary Candidate (PC), Duke Ofori Atta, has urged Ghanaians to make informed choices on election day to ensure better leadership that implements developmental interventions to positively impact people’s lives.

His remarks came during a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of a 579m² floor pavement, complete with concrete Kerbs, drains, and an ultra-modern toilet facility at Osino Market.

Mr. Ofori Atta emphasized the vital role that markets play in promoting economic efficiency and expressed confidence in the project, which is scheduled for completion within two months. He entrusted the contractor, Deton Company Limited, to provide employment opportunities for local artisans, enhancing their livelihoods.

District Chief Executive (DCE) for Fanteakwa South, Hon. Ernest Ofosu, also spoke at the event, highlighting that the new facilities will offer convenience and promote socioeconomic development for market women.

He appealed to traders to support the NPP by voting to continue implementing its developmental agenda aimed at improving the district’s social and economic infrastructure.

Madam Maafio, speaking on behalf of the Queen Mother of Osino Market, commended the government for the initiative and urged residents to support the project’s completion, noting that the new toilet facility will address unsanitary conditions within the market.
