If the people of Amasaman vote for me, I am going to bring Abossey Okai to Amasaman- Independent Candidate Ashitey

Independent Parliamentary Candidate Nii Armah Ashitey has successfully filed his nomination forms to contest for the parliamentary seat in the Amasaman Constituency.

Addressing the press after filing the forms, Mr. Ashitey revealed that on September 9, 2024, the Electoral Commission requested that he rework his forms due to missing documents.

After complying with the EC’s instructions, he received the green light to proceed with his candidacy.

According to Mr. Ashitey, he plans to launch his campaign at the end of September, aiming to spread his message across Amasaman and encourage Ghanaians and the media to support his vision.

He urged voters to choose a candidate committed to bringing developmental projects to the constituency rather than one motivated by financial incentives, cautioning that such attitudes could be detrimental.

A key promise from Ashitey is the creation of a spare parts market for residents, addressing the negative impact of poor road conditions on vehicles.

“If the people of Amasaman vote for me into Parliament, I am going to bring Abossey Okai to Amasaman,” he stated.

Additionally, he pledged to provide financial assistance to commercial drivers to enhance their operations.

He says his campaign emphasizes development and support for the local community, as he seeks to secure the trust and votes of the constituents in the upcoming elections.
