Sedem Afenyo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Amasaman constituency, has formally submitted his nomination forms to the Electoral Commission, marking a significant step in his electoral campaign ahead of the upcoming elections.
NDC Parliamentary Candidate of the AMASAMAN constituency, Sedem Afenyo, submitted his nomination forms to the Electoral Commission in accordance with the given deadline. On September 10th, Sedem Afenyo completed his nomination process. Before submitting my nomination, I was waiting for my father, John Dramani Mahama, who completed his nomination yesterday. I received his blessing and proceeded to do mine today.
Our journey to victory begins today. Our nomination has been successfully submitted to the Electoral Commission. We understand that Ghanaians are tired and seeking change. Officially, Ghanaians have decided that the NDC Government will take over on December 7th. Furthermore, we will be sworn in on January 7th. I can assure you that everything Ghanaians need will come to pass.
This is my second time going through this process, so it’s just a formality. I don’t foresee any difficulties.
According to the Electoral Commission, their system was a bit slow as they had to verify all the names to ensure they were registered and had voted in Amasaman. I appreciate everyone who endorsed my forms.
As I moved, the delegates supported me. They are eager for a change because we are all suffering. They need a victory and believe in what the NDC can do for them. Victory will be ours on December 7th.
