The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced its decision to hold meetings tomorrow to address various issues surrounding the Walewale Parliamentary election and determine the next steps.
During a press conference this afternoon, NPP General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua stated that the party will fully support the Ghana Police Service, and any institution established to investigate the recent chaos related to the election.
According to him, any culprit that will be apprehended by the Ghana police Service will be dealt with drastically and the Party will not plead on anyone’s behalf, emphasizing that the Party is not known for electoral violence.
He emphasized that any individuals apprehended by the police will face strict consequences, asserting that the party does not condone electoral violence.
Mr. Kodua reiterated the NPP’s commitment to maintaining peace and stability within the party, highlighting their respect for internal democracy and the rule of law.
He confirmed that the party will convene tomorrow to discuss matters concerning the Walewale Parliamentary Primaries.
