He used the Opportunity to explained Ghanaians are losing a lot of culture, and the native language to Western culture by adapting languages, like English language, French and the children are losing their language, and he seriously think using local languages in schools will help preserve Ghanaian culture and called on the Ministry of Education to intervene for the use of local languages in schools.
On his part, the ASAFOATSE TETTEH AKROBOSO lll, Asafoatse Prampram Lomotey Family added that, when using the native language it helps to express your views well and to that extent, they have to start from the basic level to help the children and urged Parents not to reprimanded the children from speaking their local language becuase the children feel like it’s not ideal but the local language should be promote the cultural heritage and not to allow our cultural heritage fade away.
