Let’s bury our differences among us for unity-Newly installed Wulomo, Prampram

The newly installed Wolomo from the Chawesey Division of the Arden Family in Prampram, known by his stool name Nuumo Tsaatse Torgbe Dig-bleh Wornor Vl and in private life as Ishaiah Martey, has called for unity among the people of Prampram and its environs.

He urged the community to bury their differences and rally behind the Prampram Paramount Chief for the development of the area.

During the installation ceremony, the Chief Priest pledged his commitment to lead the community and encouraged residents to have confidence in his ability to guide the Shrine towards their expected goals.

Head of the Aku-ble family, Mr. Thomas Martey, explained that the ceremony was necessary to replace the departed Wolomo, as the position had been vacant for 30 years since the demise of the previous Wolomo.

He noted that all necessary rites for the new Wolomo have commenced to enable him to perform his duties.

The installation of the new Wolomo follows a decision made by the three gates of the Chawesey royal family to enstool him to oversee the affairs of the Torgbe Dig-bleh Shrine in Prampram.

It was highlighted that Prampram is home to 96 deities, each playing a crucial role in the protection and prosperity of the town’s inhabitants.

The ceremony introduced the new Wolomo to dignitaries present, showcasing the rich culture and traditions of Prampram.

In his address, Nuumo Tsaatse Torgbe Dig-bleh Wornor Vl expressed gratitude to the family and called on the community to set aside their differences.

He emphasized that Prampram cannot achieve its developmental goals without unity among its people, stating that fostering unity is his top priority.

He assured the community of his commitment to support them with prayers for peace and development.

Residents and family members expressed their excitement about the new Wolomo, noting that he is a son of the stool.

They disclosed that his main aim is to ensure that every individual in the community lives in protection and experiences significant prosperity and development, hoping for continued peace and unity in Prampram.
