Prampram Divisional Chief for Olowe, Nii Martey-Martey Alexander, has encouraged parents to prioritize instilling discipline in their children, emphasizing their crucial role as future leaders in society.

He conveyed this message during the climax of the Prampram Homowo Festival, which celebrates the dedication of their forefathers.

During the festival, Nii Martey highlighted the importance of teaching children to listen and embody good character, stating that ensuring children exhibit positive behavior will have a lasting impact on future generations.

He urged parents to train and guide young children to have “clean slates” in their minds, filled with the right values and principles.

He stressed that investing in discipline will yield responsible and successful individuals who can carry forward the aspirations of society.

Additionally, the Chief of Dawhenya, Nene Tetteh Koodie Arden IV, addressed the youth, urging them to disassociate themselves from electoral violence in the upcoming December 7 general election.

He underscored that violence can be effectively prevented if the majority of Ghanaian youth resist becoming conduits for political violence in the country.
