Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has asserted that he deserves the opportunity to lead Ghana, citing his accomplishments as Vice President.
During a stakeholder engagement at the Kasoa Odekro Palace, part of his tour in the Awutu Senya East constituency, he claimed to be recognized as the best Vice President Ghana has ever had.
Dr. Bawumia highlighted his role in implementing 33 government policies, contrasting his achievements with those of former President John Dramani Mahama, who also served as Vice President but, according to Bawumia, did not reach similar milestones.
He urged Ghanaians to support his presidential bid, promising to be a “brand new tear rubber leader” for the nation.
In addition to his leadership vision, Dr. Bawumia stated that his presidency would not support same-sex marriages in Ghana, reinforcing his stance on traditional values.
