The National Union of Ghana Catholic Cathecist Association, NUGCCA, organized a 3-day-conference to improve their services in the Lord and Most Revered Peter Kwaku Atuahene advised that Cathecists who were present to sometimes exchange pulpits with their colleagues for the sermons to be new and refreshed.
According to the Father, doing this will help the members to know new teachings and different understandings of the word of God and help them grow in the Lord.
He explained further that when the members see the same face for quite some time and the sermons from the Bible have been heard over and over again, the congregation sometimes needs to see new faces with different teachings to rekindle their love for the word of God and doing so will make them understand the Bible.
The theme for the conference is “The Role of Cathecists in Catholic Worship” and it is known that they have a task to guide young ones to the Light and this is the main reason for the organization of this even to acquire more insight and know how to tackle issues as they serve the Lord.
