The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has strongly criticized the newly launched New Patriotic Party (NPP) manifesto, describing it as the usual lies by the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
During the manifesto launch, Dr. Bawumia made numerous promises aimed at improving the lives of Ghanaians, including assurances of job creation and the construction of an airport in the Upper East Region.
However, the Western Regional Secretary of the NDC, Mr. Joseph Nelson, has dismissed these promises as insincere and untrustworthy.
He argued that the NPP has a history of making mouthwatering promises, such as One Million Dollars per constituency, One District One Factory, and One Village One Dam, but ultimately failing to fulfill them.
In an interview with Agya Owusu Ansah on the Hot Morning Drive on Fox FM in Takoradi, Mr. Nelson questioned Dr. Bawumia’s credibility, stating that he can no longer be taken seriously.
He pointed out that the NPP flagbearer has shifted his focus from economic issues to digitalization, a move that raises doubts about his commitment to addressing the country’s pressing economic challenges.
