On the campaign trail in the Volta Region, former President John Dramani Mahama has commented on a recent verbal gaffe by leading members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), including President Akufo-Addo.
Mahama suggested that such slips indicate that the NPP has been “harbouring him in their dreams.”
This remark follows President Akufo-Addo’s statement where he mistakenly referred to the current administration as the “Akufo-Addo-Mahama administration,” which Mahama deemed “unpardonable.”
During his rally, Mahama stated, “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks,” implying that the president’s mistake reflects deeper sentiments.
He urged Ghanaians to reject the ruling party in the upcoming elections, encouraging them to take their destiny into their own hands.
