The overlord of New Edubiase traditional area,in the Adansi South district of Ashanti region, Oguahyia Oduro Panin Birikorang 1, has destooled, Nana Amoako Tuffour,the chief of Abadwum who is also a respected figure within the ruling party NPP, over charges of gross misconducts.

The order for Nana Amoako Tuffour removal was announced at the New Edubiase palace on Tuesday 13, August 2014 during a sitting of the Edubiaman traditional council.

Giving accounts to his charges before the council,the Queen mother for Abadwum,Nana Akyaw Konadu Yiadom said that, Nana Amoako Tuffour after occupied the stool for the past three years has engaged in gross disrespect
against his subchiefs while always refuse to honor Awukudae and Akwasidae festival celebration.

On his part, The paramount chief of New Edubiase traditional area,Oguahyia Oduro Birikorang during his pronouncement said, Nana Amoako Tuffour has been summoned before the council in several accounts to response to the charges levels against him but has failed to honor several invitations extended to him.
