National Council For Curriculum and Assessment To Reform Secondary Education.

The National Council of Curriculum and Assessment is working with stakeholders in the education sector to reform the secondary education cycle to better prepare students for tertiary education.

Rebecca Abu Gariba, the Director of Corporate Affairs, highlighted the importance of the reform in equipping students with knowledge for their future education and careers.

The new curriculum aims to prepare students for the world and their future occupations, with teachers being provided manuals and training to effectively implement it.

She went ahead to reveal that every teacher will have a manual to prepare and go to class to teach the students. The teachers will be well-trained to be able to implement the curriculum effectively and there will be material for both students and teachers.

Special attention is being given to students with disabilities to ensure they are not left behind. The stakeholders in Koforidua and other education leaders have shown appreciation for the initiative, recognizing its potential to improve the education system and equip future leaders with new skills and knowledge.
