The National Executive Committee (NEC) and the National Council(NC) has endorsed the Nomination of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh(NAPO) by the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
The endorsement of NAPO’s is in line with Article 13 of NPP constitution,where the flagbearer in consultation with the National council will nominate a running mate.
Briefing the media after a marathon meeting,general Secretary of NPP,Lawyer Justin Koduah Frempong alluded that NAPO’s approval will bring unity among the grassroot base of the kukurudu family.
According to him,the Bawumia/NAPO ticket is the best bet as far as breaking the eight slogan for the New Patriotic Party is concern.
Lawyer Justin Koduah Frempong called on the rank and file of the New Patriotic Party to rally behind the Bawumia/ticket for the battle that awaits them on December 7th 2024.
