Two toddlers,One and half year old girl and One month old baby boy have met their untimely death after their building collapse on them while their mother was bathing.
The sad incident happened at Gomoa Osamkrom in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region.
Police sources says, mother of the Deceases was were asleep after their mother Sophia Arthur fed them and step out to bath.
Information gathered by Ghone news Yaw Boagyan revealed that their mother was bathing when she heard huged sound and before she stepped out from the bathhouse, the building has collapse on them.
Some residents came around and help the family members to removed the blocks from the children.
The Incident happened on Monday July 1,2024 in the evening around 9:30 PM.
Bodies of the toddlers have been taken to Agona Swedru government Hospital mortuary while investigations ongoing.
Meanwhile, speaking to Ghone news Yaw Boagyan the District Chief Executive of Gomoa Central Hon.Benjiman Kojo Otu said,the building was in it’s deplorable state and need to be relocated.
He advised the residents in the Osamkrom Community to take their health wise serous since most of the building there are in their deplorable state.
He then console the deceased family members and wish them well.
