Citizens of Yonso in the Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti Region resident in the USA,
have donated medical equipments worth millions of Ghana to Yonso Health Centre.
The gesture formed part of appeal made by authorities of Yonso Health Center for the medical equipment support.
The medical items included mattresses,wheel chairs, walking sticks among others promote quality care in the community.
Presenting the items to the staff at the short ceremony, Mr Akwasi manu, a resident from Yonso who lives in the USA, said they came together on a common platform to plan for development back home as their quota to complement government’s efforts to spearhead development of the area.
He charged the staff to take good care of the items to serve intended purposes.

thanked Mr Akwasi Manu and diasporan of Yonso for the gesture.
Dr Quainoo Robert used the opportunity to appeal to government and stakeholders to come to the aid of the staff of Yonso health center for staff accommodation, lab technicians, staffs, fence wall of the facility, laboratory equipments among others
He promised to put the items to good use.

Finally, The chief of Yonso , Baffour Oduro Boahen stood on behalf of the community to express their profound gratitude Yonso Diasporan for the gesture.
He urge them to take good care of the items and called on other yonso citizens outside Ghana to come in their aid.
