The Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma constituency Hon Kofi Amankwaah Manu and Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly
has cut sod to construct a ultramodern market complex at Nweneso NO1 to boost economic activities in the area.

The project, which is expected to be completed within 6 months , will have various facilities such as a toilet facility, water installation among others.

The project was funded by local government.

Traditional leaders in the district also joined the ground breaking ceremony.

Speaking at the colourful sod-cutting ceremony today, Hon Kofi Amankwaah Manu therefore, called on his people to support the contractor to complete the project on time.

On his part, the District Chief Executive for Atwima Kwanwoma District Hon Prince Karikari also thanked the MP Hon Kofi Amankwaah Manu for massive developmental projects initiated to the district.

He said this ultramodern market facility is one of the Eight (8) monumental projects they have received under the NPP government led by His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and Alhaji mahamudu Bawumia.
He said the community deserves such a project to meet the growing population in the area.

He called on the youth in the area to support the contractor to finish the project on schedule.

He urged them to vote for NPP government to complete all the massive developmental projects they have started in the district.

Some of the market women who spoke to media immediately after the sod-cutting ceremony commended the MP and District Assembly for coming out with such a brilliant idea to get the community market complex Centre.

They urged them to speed up project to promote business activities in the area because they are facing so many challenges.
