21 communities to be connected to national grid in Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituency

The NPP parliamentary Candidate and CEO of Exim Bank Ghana for Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituen­cy in the Central Region, Mr Lawrence Kwabena Agyinsam, has helped 21 communities in the constituency to get connected to the national grid under the Rural Electrification Project (REP).

The beneficiary communi­ties included Mbaaniaye Kow-Asare, Pemsan, Nana Ahoma Akora, Canaan, Abrafo Gyaware, Mfuom Apokwa, Onomakwa, Ayedwe, ponate, Mfantefum, Domeabra, Abodo, Hemang continuation, Kofi lartey, Amuza, Tosen, Tie- mensah, Ankrakrom, Maamekwa and osamkwa.

At the Community engagement and electricity assessment with the DCE Hon Nana Kweku Abban in the beneficiary communities to announce the electrification projects which was in fulfilment of promises by Mr Lawrence Kwabena Agyinsam made to the communities during 2024 parliamentary primaries elections.

He said the people voted for him to work hard and bring development to them, adding the people of Hemang Lower Denkyira Constituency needs develop­ment and he assured them of more developmental projects.

He said the provision of the electricity in the communities would not only brighten their homes but would also go a long way to improved on their socio- economic activities and enhance their living condition.

He added: “They would no more walk miles again to charge their phones. Mr Agyinsam is always been trying to unlock and reduce the electricity problems in the constituency.

The DCE Hon Nana Kweku Abban applauded Mr. Lawrence Kwabena Agyinsam for the good works he had been doing for the good of the constituency.

He also highlighted the ambition of the Akufo-Addo/ Bawumia government
to see to it that every part of Ghana had electricity and committed to achieving the universal access to electricity in every community within the country, in order to bring development closer to the people.

Some Community members thanked Mr Agyinsam and NPP government for the gesture and noted that the connection of their community to the national grid would open up their oil business and ensure their massive support for the NPP government.
