The Ablekuma Asafoakye, who is called ALHAJI IDDRISU MOHAMMED, in Muslim (aka) Asafoakye Otubuor Ɔnsuro-Gya, has cautioned the Ghanaian youth espectially the Muslim to help ease tension ahead of the general election polls by not to allow themselves to be used to foment trouble during the December elections.
He admonished the youths to serve as citizens and uphold the peace and sovereignty of the land, to stay away from negative behaviours that could ruin their future, also urged them to say no to violence and not to put the country in chaos by allowing politicians to buy their conscience only to destroy their future, but he encouraged them to work hard and be disciplined to become sucessful in life.
He made the statement during “Eld – adar” celebration Woship at Agape Mosque recently, advising, the youth should not allow any politician to influence them to cause mayhem in election 2024, but rather direct their energies into productive ventures than indulging in acts that will tarnished their image and that of the country.
on his part, Abusuapanyin Nana Fianko, of Sakyi-krom Bati-Botwey’s Clan, also impressed on the youth to remain focussed ahead of the December polls and not to shield criminal elements that disturbed the peace of the country and most importantly the Muslim youth should carve a positive image that will reflect positively in the country so that the perception that Muslim youth and Communities are hub for voilence during election will be erased, also advised all the youth not to be used as agents in fomenting trouble and therefore pleaded to politicians to campaign devoid of physical attacks and the use of abusive language
during the 2024 polls to avoid Violence.
