Female seriously sick person believed to be in late 60’s with P.O.P on his legs have been dumped in a bush at Gomoa Ojobi by alleged Hospital Ambulance from Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital in the Central Region.
Source with the Police says, the victim was on admission and receiving treatment at Winneba Trauma Hospital after involving in accident but the Hospital discharged the patient and dumped her in a bush after failing to identify her family members.
In an interview with Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan,some residents at Gomoa Ojobi in the Gomoa East District of Central Region says, they saw the Ambulance removing the 60 year old patient and dumping her in the bush with a wheelchair in the evening on Tuesday, June 11,2024 at around 8:30 PM.
They suspect the Person who retrieved the sick person from the ambulance was a health worker.
According to the residents,the ambulance is allegedly is coming the Winneba Trauma and specialist Hospital.
Some of the express shock with the actions by the Hospital.
Meanwhile Gomoa Ojobi Community Chairman, Apostle Robert Afraku called on the authority and Gomoa East Social welfare to come for the patient to save her.
According to him,the sick person would have died if they couldn’t see her in the bush.
He said,this is the first time such incidents has happened in the area.
Meanwhile, according to him don’t know what do now.
Furthermore, management of the facility failed speak on the matter.
