“HAWA KOOMSON HAS SHOT HERSELF ON THE FOOT”… NDC CENTRAL REGIONAL CHAIRMAN

Following recent happened at Awutu Senya East Electoral Commission Office which led to the detained of NDC Parliamentary Candidate, Hon. Phillis Naa koryoo, NDC Central Regional Chairman, Prof. Kofi Asiedu has stated that, Awutu Senya East MP has ducked her own pit ahead of elections 2024.

Speaking in a press conference where the executives of NDC in Central Region met to address the press at Kasoa after released of their Parliamentary candidate from police grip, the chairman said, every indication in the Constituency shows that, Phillis Naa koryoo has owned the heart of the constituents hence no intimidation from Hawa Koomson will yield any positive results in upcoming elections.

Professor Kofi Asiedu voices out that, the Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture should be ready to accept defeat from the upcoming elections, caution her to desist from all sort of violence for Kasoa to have it peace in the on going exercise.

The chairman added that, the Intel he has indicates that, the Effutu MP, Hon. Afenyo Markin has bussed 71 military officers to the Constituency to transfer their vote to Effutu which will allow them to vote in Effutu during 7th December, 2024.

The chairman voiced out that he has all the list which he is working on it to present before commander of Arm Forces to get those names out from Effutu EC voting register.

In conclusion, he charged the Commander of Ghana Arm Force to act quickly to get those names out from the system before any mayhem occurred in the Constituency.
