The Board and Management of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) have embarked on an official trip to the Obuasi Obuasi DVLA office to familiarize themselves with the day-to-day operations and address any challenges faced by staff.
The purpose of the tour is to gain insights into the difficulties encountered by staff and explore potential solutions through direct interaction.
Mr. Prince Opoku Adu-Sei, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Operations at the DVLA, highlighted the importance of periodic monitoring of all offices nationwide to ensure project implementation according to plan and assess overall performance. He expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Obuasi DVLA
while acknowledging existing challenges that require attention.
“We are pleased with the progress observed so far in the Obuasi although there is room for improvement.
We will address the identified issues upon our return to ensure optimal service delivery,” stated Mr. Adu-Sei Opoku.
Additionally, plans are underway to tared deplorable road network leading to the Obuasi DVLA office.

On his part, the Obuasi district manager of DVLA Mr Edwin H Ofori thanked the Board management for the visit.
He said they are facing two or more challenges including their deplorable road network, they modern fence wall, CCT TV camera to monitor their actives
