POLICE STATION HELPS REDUCE CRIME RATE AND RESTORE DISCIPLINE IN COMMUNITIES. Dwenease Chief.

Decreasing crime rate and ensure peace at Fanteakwa South District in the Eastern Region, DCE cut sod for the construction of an ultra-modern police station in the Fanteakwa South District at Dwenase.

The Chief of Dwenease Barimah Beyeeman Gyakyisei ll, has commended the Fanteakwa South DCE on the Assembly’s Commitment for such a wonderful project and promised to support the Police in maintaining law and order in the community to reduce crime rate and restore discipline in his community, when completed will serve remarkably change in the area and charged the contractor to avoid shoddy work.

On his part, the Fanteakwa South District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Ernest Ofosu emphasised that, the new Police station will go a long way to improve police accessibility and visibility in the Dwenase and it environs, whiles lamented the police station will serves more than 5 communities for quality security service in the area.

He underscored, the police station will have Two cells male and female, Charge Office, Commander Office, CID Office and Washrooms, also reiterate the Project is expected to be completed in eight (8) month period.

He stated that although Dwenase is a small town, the police station situated there is befitting of the place in terms of serving the security needs and the critical nature of the project will encourage the contractors to complete the project within schedule.

In attendance were Parliament Candidate (PC) for Fanteakwa Constituency, Mr Duke Ofori Atta -NPP Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Fanteakwa South Constituency, DCE, MP, Chiefs and Queenmothers, Staff of Assembly members, many more.
