The District Director Of Agriculture, Ebo Cann Mensah has Announced the PFJ face two will occur at Nkasiemu Methodist’s Park in Asutifi south on Thursday 25 April 2024
According to District Director of Agric in Asutifi South, Ebo Cann Mensah said the Asutifi south (PFJ)face two durber which part of the sensitization programs that all the districts are doing across the Ghana. The second project sensitization will provide benefit from program already launched at the national level.
The durber is an open forum that will happen at the forcourt of the chief’s palace of Nkasiem
Agriculture stakeholders has invited, the DCE, coordinating Director, the Chief , the farmers and all the stakeholders involved in the value chain, so that they pass the second project of ( PFJ) information to them .
In addition, the District Director of Agriculture in Asutifi South made it clearly that the farmers have heard the government has bring such programs but the understanding is not clear to them. The second project will provide information and understanding to the stakeholders so that they can start register and benefit from the program that will be launched in this year
This program is input loan program that is designed to help farmers marketing issues. This program has selected ten crops and one animal production. The animals production is poultry and the crops are rice, pepper,tomatoes, maze, onions, yam, cassava, plantain, soya beans
Speaking to the CEO of Gye Nyame Media Network, the District Director stated the Asutifi South farmers should be part of this program.
