IGNORE GOVERNMENT INFLUENCED STATEMENT BY ROAD TRANSPORT OPERATIONS

1. The office of the TRUE DRIVERS UNION wish to thank the general public for their kind cooperation during the recent increment on transport fares
2. It has come to our attention a letter supposedly coming from the abused office Road Transport Operators advising passenger not to pay the said increment.
3. This statement we believe without a shred of doubt that it was influenced and emanated from the Transport Ministry.
4. We want to use this medium to inform the public/ passengers not to heed to the said advice to avoid confrontation by commercial drivers and conductors since the increment is irreversible.
5. Drivers have over entertained government’s reckless and irresponsible increment on fuel prices and other related commodities which enable us to run our business.
6. Once again, thank you for your cooperation.
