The Ablekuma ASAFOATSE OTUBUOR ONSURO-GYA, who is known in his Muslim name as “Alhaji Idrisu Lartey,” has admonished Ghanaians especially, Muslims to forgive each other and build a united front for the socio-economic development of the country.
He posited that Islam is a peaceful religion and as this year’s Ramadan is ongoing, he entreats all Ghanaians especially, Muslims, Traditional and Religious Leaders to forgive one another as enshrined in the Holy Quran to foster peace in unity to build a better Ghana for development.
He stressed, that there is a perception that Muslim youths are always known as violent people so he advised the youth to avoid Election Violence.
Citing this year as an election year, he further urged all Muslims to remember Ghana in prayers this Ramadan for peace before, during, and after this year’s general elections and advised the youth to disassociate themselves from electoral violence for the coming general election.
He used the opportunity to wish all Ghanaians Ramadan Mubarak.
