The Krontihene of Aboabo No. 1, a suburb in the Dormaa Central Constituency of the Bono Region, Nana Sabi Kyeremeh has disclosed that the dilapidated nature of the Aboabo No. 1 M. A Primary School building has retard the effectiveness of teaching and learning since the building poses a danger to the health and safety of the teachers and the entire students.

Expressing his displeasure on behalf of Nananom and the entire members of the community, Nana Sabi Kyeremeh underscored the need for government and other stakeholders to swiftly attend to the People of Aboabo No. 1 and provide them with a modern school building to improve teaching and learning.

Responding to the plea of Nananom, the Assembly member for Aboabo No. 1 Electoral Area Hon. Kwaku Aning revealed his readiness to support the course of education in his Electoral Area.

He noted that the inability of the Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly to elect a presiding member after their inauguration has derailed the financial possibilities of the Assembly but pledged to factor the school in the Assembly’s budget when official business begins after a presiding member is elected stressing that he will liaise with NGOs and Philanthropists for their support in the renovation of the dilapidated structure.
